European Guitar Builders and The Bologna Guitar Show Announce Landmark Collaboration for 2026

European Guitar Builders (EGB) and the organisers of the Bologna Guitar Show are proud to announce the launch of the “EGB Luthier Collection”, a new exhibition concept debuting at the 2026 show from 15 – 17 May.

Moving away from the traditional, high-decibel trade show environment, the EGB Luthier Collection offers a premium, shared platform designed specifically to honour the artistry of boutique guitars. Situated in a prime position on the main concourse of the Bologna Guitar Show, the space will function as an art-exhibition-inspired dedicated area curated to highlight the technical and artistic features that define modern lutherie. A dedicated silent area for meaningful interaction, and soundproof cabins for respectful testing.

The initiative has already seen an enthusiastic response, with over 20 world-class luthiers confirmed to exhibit, highlighting the growing demand for high-end, dedicated platforms for boutique instruments.
