2020 The Holy Grail Guitar Show — The Grand Finale

Set to celebrate not only the guitar but also the final HGGS in Berlin it was supposed to be a grand event, again with 135 exhibitors from all over the world. But it was not to be — as the COVID pandemic swept around the world ultimately the Grand Finale also had to be cancelled. But not to be deterred the team was able to switch gears to

THE HOLY COUCH GUITAR SHOW
Putting our disappointment over the cancellation of The Holy Grail Guitar Show aside, we decided didn’t want to let the original HGGS weekend (May 2 & 3) pass by, empty and unnoticed.

So we invited all the exhibitors of The Holy Grail Guitar Show 2020 to present their work online over the course of this weekend. The Holy Grail Guitar Show website became The Holy Couch Guitar Show site and was set up as a gateway to participating exhibitors’ online activities.

So what happened during the weekend? Lots – our exhibitors have put together a rich program full of varied offerings. They showed off the guitars you would have seen in Berlin, gave an exclusive peek inside their workshops, invited visitors to a personal chat, and much more. Much of this can still be seen on their individual social media platforms as well as the HCGS Facebook group.
